Suffering in silence

In the past year I suffered a lot of pain and confusion. Both my grandmothers and a friend passed away, my friend was going through a lot of trouble and kept asking me to help her because I was the only one who knew. I also had two friends more recently who were sexually abused and refused to tell anyone but me about it. I was scared, alone and felt like no one understood what I was going through. All this happened within two months, I was suffering in silence.
Finally I worked up the courage to talk to Kids Helpline. They told me I was doing the right thing and I was able to help my friends get the right help. Although one of my friends felt I was invading her privacy by telling an adult, she thanks me for it now because if I didn't, she would've hurt herself. Thankyou Kids Helpline for giving me the courage to work out my life and get me back on track.
