I was so confused

Recently, I saw a good friend's girlfriend hooking up with another good friend of ours. She swore she'd never done anything like that before and it was a mistake and asked me not to tell him.
I had no idea what to do, I was worried about hurting him, I was so confused. I called the Kids Helpline and they were great. They helped me make the decision to tell him and help him work through it, instead of keeping it to myself and him finding out later and being more hurt that I knew.
After telling him I felt better and though it hurt him at the time he thanked me after because other people knew about her doing similar things but never told him about them.
