Had really big problem

Hey guys, I would like to start off by saying a big thanks for reading my story. Okay, well when I was about 8 I had really big problems and still do now. I didn't really have a mum or dad and my 3 sisters and my brother didn't live with me like many little 8 year olds.
I was never at home and always at my mum and dad's mate's house. Why you wonder? Because my mum and dad both did drugs......It went on for years until about 3 years ago, when it all STOPPED. I feel like my life got alot better from then on. I was in year 9 and my life felt like it just began. Now I'm in year 11 and my life is better then it has ever been.
But some how I don't see it's actually any better. I never called up the helpline coz I never really thought about it. Like why would anyone want to call someone that doesn't know you or wouldn't understand right? Well I was stupid to think that. Now I know I can call or email them if I ever need help, which I will be doing after I share this with you guys.
My point is that if you had or do have a life like mine, you do have people out there to help you. Don't be like me and not talk to anyone. Thanks.
