I wanted to run away (12 year old boy)
I found a phone box near my house and rang Kids Helpline because I wanted to run away from home. I thought no one in my family would care anyway because they don't love me. I talked to the counsellor for a long time about stuff and then I went home and told mum how I felt. My mum said she was a bit upset herself and she didn't mean to neglect me. I hope she means it and I'm waiting to see if things do change. I keep calling Kids Helpline to let them know how it is going.
