Bullied my entire life (12 year old girl)
I have been bullied my entire life, I have been called 'emo', 'goth' or 'nerd'. On top of all that, every day I would fight with my mum, she would say terrible things like 'I regret having you' or 'I wish you were more like your brother'.
I felt so bad about myself. I started hitting people and getting angry alot and it got worse as I hit puberty. So one day my teacher told me to see the guidance counsellor and she told me many strategies to deal with bullies.
Then I went on Kids Helpline and read other people's stories which made me know I'm not alone. I learnt that I should just talk to someone. Now I have lots of friend and I am content with my life.
