Broke free of bullies (12 year old girl)
I was being bullied physically, mentally and being cyber bullied - all at once! I was a shy person and couldn't bear leaving my friends, even though they were so obviously bullies. They started getting up and leaving when I sat down and calling me colourful names. WHY didn't anyone like me?
Then I saw a Kids Helpline advertisement on television and thought, oh well I'll give it a shot, I've got nothing to lose. I talked my problems through with my counsellor and she was so helpful. I finally gained the power to break free of these bullies. I am now surrounded by many happy friends that all genuinely care about me. I couldn't be happier! Thank you so much, Kids Helpline!
