What happens when you grieve?
Sometimes grief can change how you act at home or school. For example, you may find that you:
- don't want to talk to anyone
- are mean to your friends without wanting to be
- find it hard to do your school work
- have bad dreams
- feel lonely because your parents and other family members are sad too, and things are different at home
All of these can happen at any time and sometimes take you by surprise.
Is it OK to grieve?
YES! It is natural to feel sad when you lose someone or something important in your life.
