The way you look comes mostly from your parents and grandparents
A lot of how you look comes from your Mum and Dad. Has anyone ever said to you ‘Oh you have your Mother's eyes!’? Or ‘Gee you smile just like your Dad!’?
If your Mum and Dad are both super tall with straight dark hair, it's unlikely that you will be short with blond curls. So how crazy is it to comment about the way someone looks when it's not like anyone gets a choice in the first place! Are there parts of you that look just like your Mum or your Dad?
Body size and weight are just one part of who we are
Bodies are great but how you look is just a small part of what's important about you. Someone's value is really about who they are, what they do, and how they treat others, not how they look. What are the things that you most value in other people and in yourself?
