Business Chicks
Business Chicks has supported Kids Helpline since 2005, raising both funds for and awareness of the national counselling service. Spreading the word about Kids Helpline and the needs of young Australians is a very important aspect of this partnership. Through Business Chicks, Kids Helpline is able to speak with more than 2,500 community-minded people each quarter.
Business Chicks has raised over $500,000 to support Kids Helpline through a variety of activities including overseas adventures, community activities and fundraising raffles at the Business Chicks Breakfast.
In February and March 2011, Business Chicks is offering their members the opportunity to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, visit Gemma Sisia and the School of St Jude, all while raising vital funds for Kids Helpline. In 2009, 30 Business Chicks rose to the challenge of cycling in Cambodia and project work at Sunrise Children's Orphanage. Not only was this an adventure of a lifetime, the Business Chicks raised a tremendous $130k for Kids Helpline.
